Description
This lesson was written as a webinar to present to university students and is suitable for teens through to adults. In it, students will talk about the weather and discuss why weather is different to climate. They will learn/revise some technical vocabulary and discuss extreme weather events and the link to climate change.
The grammar point explored in this lesson is modal verbs such as can, need, must. With clips to watch and interactive quizzes to test comprehension, this slide deck asks the questions: What do you think world governments should do to mitigate the effects of climate change? What can you as an individual do to make a difference?
Can you think of three major changes that need to be implemented before it is too late?
